The NVLD Project's Annual Fundraiser
Join us we celebrate 10 years of The NVLD Project!
Ten years ago, The NVLD Project launched under the direction of Dr. Laura Lemle. In the past decade, we have made great strides in delivering on our mission: to raise awareness, build support, and create helpful solutions for children, adolescents, and adults with Non-Verbal Learning Disability.
Through our partnerships with Columbia University Irving Medical Center, the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and the Child Mind Institute, The NVLD Project is working hard to see DVSD/NVLD recognized as a formal diagnosis in the DSM while educating future clinicians on recognizing, diagnosing and treating DVSD/NVLD. We also continue to fund ground-breaking research projects at institutions across the United States to ensure that those with DVSD/NVLD are no longer misdiagnosed or misunderstood.

This year's keynote speaker is Carolyn Skowron, a public speaker and Project Social Ambassador who was diagnosed with NVLD as a high-school sophomore.
Donate an Auction Item
If you have a silent auction item that you would like to donate or are willing to help reach out to companies for donations, please email Paula Dennis at pdennis@nvld.org. Items that have auctioned well in the past include VIP passes and experiences, restaurant gift certificates, sporting or event tickets, signed sports memorabilia, hotel stays and trip vouchers, fine jewelry and spa services.
